I don’t know what I would do without my ThinkPad X201. It’s modifiable, I can swap the battery out easily, and the keyboard is just right size for me.
This word processor is the perfect distraction-free writing tool. I use it for writing articles, notes on manuscripts, and for writing my own story outlines. It’s got a small screen, runs on AA batteries, and is lightweight so I can take it with me everywhere.

What can I say? I use it for calls and email mostly, and to take notes when I’m out and about.
I use ActiveCollab to keep on top of all tasks, notes and discussions related to each project.
While I use ActiveCollab to stay organised and productive at work, MyLifeOrganized helps me to stay organised in my personal life. I find the dependencies, reminders, and the ability to see actionable tasks in MLO to be invaluable.

Social media management makes up a large part of what I do. Using open source software like Mixpost makes social media easier to manage by allowing me to write, schedule, and publish on all the platforms I use from one place.
I may not have a lot of time to get through my to-be-read list, but I like to read when I can. I prefer physical copies, but the InkBook is good alternative. It has an eInk display and an adjustable backlight, so I can read it in full sun and in the evening without straining my eyes.
It may look like a toy, but it takes some stunning photographs.
